Upper Panhard Rod & LCA Brackets - Do I Need Them?
Need Advise from the 3rd gen powers............
I saw Granatelli offers an upper panhard rod. Does anyone have one and what is the advantage?
I have a UMI panhard rod already, so do I need this? Does it compliment the handling?
Also, I have UMI lca's and plan on buying Eibach Sportlines. Should I take advantage of the UMI group purchase and buy the lca relocation brackets. Does it add anything to the suspension?
Thanks...........Bill

upper rod is not needed, but the relocation brackets are nice, will help wheel hop and help you come out of the hole better

well the upper panhard "is" required to be there, but not an aftermarket one.
the one that Granatelli sells, looks just like a new stock piece thats powder coated, BMR sell a tubular upper, that relocates things a bit to help with oversized exhaust clearance.
the LCARB are a good upgrade, the GP will save you a couple bucks, but it will take some time to get the parts,

I just called the Granatelli dealer in Canada. They want $345.00 for the panhard rod!!!.................so much for that!!
I sent an email to UMI to see how much for the weld in bracket with the discount and shipping.....
Thanks for the advice

Just to let you know Granatelli is considered to be con artist and steals a lot of his designs from others in industry. He then ships the designs over sea's and gets them made cheaply (and poorly at that). Stay away far away.

No worries...........
I also got quoted $607.00 for their MAS!!
NOt going near them with those prices. IF, I do ever need a upper panhard rod, I'll get the BMR one
