So my steering is getting some play and I thinking about getting some tie rod ends.
Choices that I found:
TRW = $33.97 (PartsAmerica)
Tread Saver = $17.77 (PartsAmerica)
Moog = 43.39 (Summit)
Summit = 29.95 (Summit)
Is it worth it to get expensive ones? Or will the cheap ones work just as well? (Remember, there are 4 total, so multiply above prices by 4)

TRW or for me, Moog. Both are good but Moog parts tend to be a little beefier(stronger). House brands are a toss-up. Could be Chinese junk or made by Moog,TRW,etc.Just finished a complete front suspension and steering linkage job with all Moog parts. You should give your front end a complete inspection. May be more than just tie-rods.Badman
A couple of months ago I went to 4 different auto parts stores and compared their tie-rod ends to my Moog (trying to fix a problem). Not a single one of them looked any different than Moog. I found that odd.
My vote still goes to Moog or TRW. 'Cause maybe it's a better casting even though dimensionally it's no different.

I'll probably get the TRW's then. Plus I can get them from Advanced so no shipping
