I want to grab a set of Cragar 342s for a bit of a NASCAR type look, since they are the only rim of that style I can get in Australia.

Unfortunatly they only come with 4inch backspacing. Will 15x8s with that backspacing stay under the fenders both front and rear?

Should I move to 7in wide on the front to be sure?

I have a set of old ultra 15x8 with 4" backs pacing left over from my montecarlo. I put them on my parts car ( 87 v6 camaro). They stick out too far on my camaro. You need 4.5" back spacing on a camaro. 4" of back spacing is perfect for g bodies. The 15x7 with 4" back spacing would look better with 215/65/15 or 235/60/15s.
