Offset?
What is the highest and lowest offset for wheels on our cars, I am looking at a set of wheels that have a -5 offset and was wondering if these would work on our cars. Might be a dumb question but how exactly is offset measured?
What do you think of these for our cars? I know there meant for trucks, but I like the way they look and the bolt pattern matches our cars bolt patterns.

Re: Offset?
Offset is how far the mouting flange is from the center of the rim....so you need to know the wheel width to know how much offset you can run. Backspacing is the actuall measurement of the amount of rim to the back of the mounting flange.
Stock Irocs run 0 offset in the front and like +18mm in the back so those rims are going to stick out quite a bit in the back of your car.

Re: Offset?
So +offset causes the rim to stick out from the car and a -offset causes the rim to be farther into the car. Then what is the most -offset you can have before the tire will rub?
