17x11
im having alot of trouble finding a nice looking rim in 17x11 (or close) other than the old ZR-1's anyone have suggestions?
Re: 17x11
beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Keep searching.
I'd suggest looking into some of the less mass produced like many of the billet wheel companies offerings. That way you don't look like everyone else.

i think there are way too many thirdgens with corvette wheels, c5 and c6. But i myself will say its hard to find a good looking wheel that isnt overproduced and overused.

Re: 17x11
suggestions? sure.. have you looked at 17x10? There is alot of options available with a 10" rim plus it is alot harder to run a 11" rim on thirdgens unless you mini-tub or have them stick out.
my rims on the rear, for example, are 17x10
Re: 17x11
I too feel that vette wheels are getting almost as overly used as TT2's. I've seen the Z06 wheels in person on a bird, and I didn't like it. I've seen them on a maro and they looked pretty good. - The color of the car, the ride height, the tire sizes used, the offsets used, etc, etc, etc all vary what the outcome.
Wheels should be selected to fit the over-all package. No matter how pretty of a wheel you find, if it's not sized properly for the look of the car it will look goofy.(ie 15x4 telstars........on the back)
I'd check into billet specialties, boyd coddington, intro, fikse(ca-ching), just to name a few. As I said, if you want it to truly look good, find something a bit unique, otherwise it looks just like so-an-so's car.

noroxus,
Find a rim you like and have the rim widened.....just a thought.

There are a few reputable shops that do a good job and stand by their work (www.weldcraftwheels.com).
Just a thought..........good luck.
