Question for anyone using drop spindles.
I have a set of 1.8" drop spindles for my 87 Iroc I will be installing and wanted to change out springs when I do the rest of I have new shocks and struts already. Do I need a drop spring for the back to level it out? Since the front is using a drop spindle I just use stock springs in the front, Correct? Also I plan on using the standard oem c6 vette rims, will 2" spacers be enough (I hope so I already have a set of 4 2" spacers)? I will be doing the c5 brake upgrade and I read that changes the clearence some. Sorry for all the questions but I am trying to get all this stuff. Thanks

Right... stock springs, or whatever. The drop spindle relocates the center of the wheel, with respoect to the rest of the suspension. Or, to turn it around other way, relocates the rest of the suspension (along with the car) with respect to the center of the wheel.
Yes, you'll need to do something about the rear, or your car will have about 1.8" too much "rake" to it.
You'll probably need LCA relocating brackets in the rear, since after you drop the rear that much, the rear end end of the LCAs will be 1.8" higher than the frame end; and you want them approximately level. Just ask Dean.
Yes 2" spacers should be fine. That's what I have with the same kind of wheels. Some other people have 2¼", which also work.
