I know why the passengerside rear is lower

Ive had this problem and a bunch of other people have stated that they also have this issue. I've had 3 different sets of springs and shocks on the car and never helped, thought the chassis was twisted from the epic, stump pulling power of the legendary old LG4 .

anyway i just swapped coil-overs on my car this weekend and when re-assembling things i found this. the reason my car was sitting lower was because the spring perch on the axle was lower on the passengerside then on the driverside! dont know if this is from stress of a lazy worker and the assembly line.

thought i would let you guys know

Re: I know why the passengerside rear is lower

when my 82 was a open rear and all stock it did this as well passenger rear always sat lower. But when I changed to a posi rear with matched springs it got the car level. I think it's just stress a open rear puts on the right rear on take off is all that causes it.

Yes with car sitting still right rear always sagged. Then put my 1984 posi rearend and original spring and the car sat level after that.
