for those of you guys who are running wide rear tires and had to remove the factory bumpstops, what have you done to relocate them? are they really needed, or just of concern if the car sits really low?

Im glad i still had mine, had to cram 5 ppl into my car cuz there car broke down, and every bump, hitting the bump stop, damage if i didnt have a bump stop, dont wana know

You don't relocate them unless you plan on putting a lot of weight in the back of the car such as mentioned above. Typically you remove them and plate over the area like this.

thanks Stephen, ive got a lot more material removed than that pic, but same difference, I dont have a back seat anymore, so extreme weight in the back.
