Shocks Questions
I am researching shocks for my 1989 GTA. I am the original owner. The shocks have never been changed and the car has 227,000 km on it. I have read the different recent posts about shocks and struts to consider and have a couple of questions.
1. Some are adjustable with a little **** on the shock. I could see how you could reach your hand into the front fender well to adjust these. However, how would you ever adjust the rear shocks? It seems you would have to remove the tires or jack the car up to adjust the rear shocks.
2. Are these adjustable struts just a gimmick or are they really worth considering?
3. Would you consider putting different manufactures shocks on the front and rear?
