Will a 4th gen tunnel mount torque arm work on our cars? i'm using a 700r-4 and the prices for the 4th gen ones @ $369 sounds better than "3rdgen specific" ones @ $415.

if they were the same, do you really think they would also make a 3rd gen specific one?
the cross-members are totally different, the actual arm may be the same though.
check UMI, there arms are way better IMO and a bit cheaper than Spohn, which is where is assume you are getting those prices

a bmr trak pack could be made to fit a 3rd gen. it comes with its own cross bar, so you can cut and weld it in anywhere.
if its a spohn or a umi, it MUST be for your vehicle because they come with a transmission brace that the arm bolts too.
if you plan on running nice exhaust, stay away from spohn or UMI, they are a pita to get around.
if i ever go with another unit, it will be a bmr, midwest, s&w racecar, or a madman type setup, for what its worth.

I have the Chris Alston tunnel mounted tq arm. Its like the jegster but has an extra tube for bracing. Its in the $300 range and bolts to the floor pan/ trans tunnel so to pull your tranny you dont have to touch the tq arm. I looked at the bmr one that stage20 is referring to but found the Chris Alston one used And its a bolt in instead of weld in.
