Mine is a 1986 iroc right now it is set up stock i was goin to keep a 16 inch wheel if thats possible i guess i could go 15 inch but will it look funny? what wheel combonations will work, like back spacing and wheel size. thanks

also if you have pictures or your car post them up id like to see what your set up looks like!

Re: what wheels work

15's are pretty bad IMO. They look small and you cannot really get a wide low profile tire. Heck most cars today have 16-17s.

The small look and you'd really be killing the handling abilities--are 2 bad negatives--IMO

I like the 16" IROC wheels---they are a timeless design. TT2s are good for aftermarket wheels.

I agree that 15" look a little on the small size as compared to what's out there on the open road now a days. At least 16" to 17", in my opinion, would be nice looking. I went with a set of 2001 Corvette wheels with 2" spacers on my '87 Z28 as I've always liked their style and I found a good deal on the via Craig's List. 17x8.5 on the front and 18x9.5 on the rears.

Re: what wheels work

I put 17x9.5 ZR1s with +56mm backspacing on my car. 2" spacer on the rear, 2 1/4" spacer for the front.

let me ask you this what are stock Iroc wheels on a 1986 width front and rear and backspacing front and rear? if i can find an aftermarket wheel that would be compairable that would be great! let me know thanks

Re: what wheels work

Im running 17x9.5 american racing wheels on back with 5.5 inches of back spacing fits perfectly with plenty of room for almost any tire size.
