Alittle help needed to an old question please ?
Yes another wheel and tire question.I'm a newbie here and i've searched the site but i'm still don't have an answer. My question is, i have a 92 rs and i want to put new wheels and tires on it(they are 16's now going to 15's) I just wanted to know if i put a 15x10 wheel (old school)with 4"backspacing and a 265/50/15 tire on the rear will it rub on the frame ? I don't mind if it sticks out pass the fender allittle,i just don't want to rub the frame.I want to stick with a 15x10 rim(W 4" BACKSPACING) because of the deep dish look, I could go down to a 255/60/15 tire but i'm not sure if the rim is to wide for that tire? what do you guys think ???? THANKS FOR ANY HELP YOU CAN GIVE ME !!!

no rubbing at all, the will stick out over 2" from the side of the car, not good
Re: Alittle help needed to an old question please ?
If it's going to stick out 2" from the fender, should i change the backspacing from 4" to 4.25"or 4.50" (to pull the rim inward) or will that make it rub on the frame ? I really wanted to use a 15x10 rim but i don't want it to stick out 2" . If i can't get a 15x10 rim to work and i go to a 15x8 rim should i change tire size also(from a 265/50/15 to a 255/60/15) and can i still use a 4" or less backspacing ? THANKS AGAIN FOR ANY HELP YOU GUYS CAN GIVE ME !!
