Transmission: 5 speed manual

stock wheels

Anyone know how wide the 1984 Z28 HO stock wheels are, 7 or 8 inch? My car is in storage now and can't look to see them myself. Also, does anyone know if P255 60R 15's will fit the back on these stock rims?

Hi,

I'm gonna guess 7 inch with them being 15 inch wheels. My V6 Firebird has stock 15*7 alloys but I have 225/60R15 tyres on them.

I have an 84 z28 HO too. The wheels measure 15x7 with 4.5" backspacing. From what I have read on the boards here, the 255 60's will fit on the rear.

Thanks. That does help. Now I'm wondering if they will look too big?? I had 245's on a different Z and that looked real good so I'm guessing that the 255's will be fine.
