Wondering what the average cost is to get a set of SFC's welded to an f-body.
I have a set of Spohn's SFC's I want welded in and just want a base to work from so I don't get hosed.
Any info appreciated....

 

My buddy got his welded in , plus the lower control arm relocation brackets welded and the new lower control arm brackets installed at an exhaust shop for 100 bucks...id say just the sfcs, i wouldnt pay more than 50 bucks...

 

$100 for all that work is a GREAT deal.

Good luck finding a shop to do it for $50. Keep in mind time is money. Most places aren't gonna charge less than an hour to do ANYTHING, and an hour of labor is going to be anywhere from $65 to $95 "ish" give or take.

I got 2 quotes to get my SFCs welded in, and both were $100.

 

I paid about $250 to get mine installed by a local GM dealer ship.

 

I paid $125 to have my LCARBs and SFCs installed at a chassis builder. Did a good job too.

 

Labor & the welding material. I paid more for the welding wire then the labor.

 

i paid 90 dollars about 4 years ago i have mine welded in. i need to get some more welds added though, a few have busted over the years.

 

I paid 50 for both set I had installed

 

Installation is only as good as the welder and cheap is not what you want. I had a weld every six inches on mine and that used a lot of welding wire.

 

Thanks guys......I guess anywhere from $100 - $150 is around the average.

 

welder $500, steel $50 + factor in beer and pizza.... rounds off to almost $600 bucks
but hey that welder comes in handy!!
