468 BBC 85 .. Race front suspension
So this car has been a working project for the last 6yrs ... we ordered springs 3 yrs ago now when the engine is in i started to put the springs in ... unfortuantely these springs are 10 inches longer than the factory springs and much stiffer --- on my 4rth gen the springs are mounted to the struts -- Has anyone swapped to a 4rth gen style suspension or a better design suspension ?

I run Koni SPA1 struts and unaltered Moroso BBC trick springs.

How did you get the springs into the a-arm ? through the back or front ?

I used a spring compressor that fits inside the spring and slid them into place. Reconnected the ball joint to hold the a-arm and removed the spring compressor.
