3rd offset ROH Snyper 17x9 offset?

What was the backspacing of them? I know they've been discontinued in the 3rd gen backspacing, but what was it?

Re: 3rd offset ROH Snyper 17x9 offset?

That's what it looked like with a tape measure, but with the tires on, I wasn't SURE if it was 4.75", 5" or 5.25".

I'm thinking about having the rear 2 widened to 10"/11", so I was looking to see where they where, to see how much I could add, without "mini-tubbing" or major wheel housing surgery. I don't mind cutting the bump stop off & moving it. That appears to be the first thing that would be hit.

could you jack up the rear of the car, get under and measure, see what distances you have and where you need to massage?

Yeah, but I was hoping to find out where I am starting from, for the backspacing.

Re: 3rd offset ROH Snyper 17x9 offset?

Hmmmmm.....Rear GTA crosslace wheels will not fit the front. We all know that.

From Skulte.com..."Don't forget to add for the rim's lip and tire bulging past the rim (I use about .25"). The positive 16mm rear rims (16mm/25.4 = 0.63") have about 4.9" of backspacing"

If a crosslace rear has 4.9" backspacing, the Snyper has to be less since they do fit. Or is Skulte adding the .25", (to 4.65") to arrive at 4.9"?

In any case....The clearance between the tie rod end & the rim.....The head of my 15mm open end wouldn't fit flat, but the head of my 13mm open end wrench would. So we're talking about 1/8"? 3/16" clearance?
