Need help installing Control Arm Bushing's
I just picked up a new set of Red Poly High energy control arm bushing, I did some searching on the forums and from what I can see, do I just simply jack up the car, take off the control arm bolts and slap the news one in, or do I have to completely take off the control arm. , and ball joint and sway bar end links and stuff, any help would be nice, I'm trying o make this a smooth job as possible. You have to remove the control arm.
The ball joint can stay. Just make sure you find new ball joint boots.
I had rebuilt a pair of control arms my self and had them all ready to go on before the car ever went up on jack stands. That way I could do the deed in one day. I would not call it a very easy job.
BTW, the bushings on my drives side were just about shot. Glad I changed them.
