v6-v8 swap and new k member
v6-v8 swap and new k member
Ok well I came across a 87 t/a v6 auto car for cheap cheap...
i have a motor i wouldnt mind seeing in it..its a pre '86 carbed 400 motor...
I have read up on the swap and from what im seeing that the stock k-member has the bolts already in place for the v8..
I also know that i will need to beef up the chassis and suspension as well...
i was checking out a new tubular k-member and was wondering that if when i went for the swap that it would just be easy to do the k-member at the same time, and that if the new k-member would have all the holes needed for the swap?
of and side ? im guessing that i will need a new trans crossmember with the v8? i plan on a 700r4 in it..or is there holes in place for the correct position already there?
any help or guidance would be appreciated...
