How to remove Steering Gear cover

How to remove Steering Gear cover
I am taking it apart to send to out for ceramic coating and need it disassemble, but cannot get that damn cover off. I have remove the o-ring however that cover is a PITA. No were to grab the lip and lodge it out, I have applied heat torch and that did not help. Any help will be appreciated. Here is a picture.

He turned the input shaft and the worm gear pushed the cover out, after the pitman arm was removed, of course.
