most important part in cure of axle hop?

Hey guys. I got a 84 Z-28 H.O. with a mild 383 stroker and am putting a 3.73 limited slip in the original 10 bolt. I already have upgraded the torque arm. I have two questions

Q1: How can I tell which of the two ten bolt rear-ends do I have in my car.
Q2: Between the panhard rod, lower control arms, and rear sway bar. Which one has the most influence in preventing axle hop?

I am going to relace all of these as well as new springs and shocks but I'm gonna have to do it a piece at a time, so I wanted to start with the most influential parts first.
THANKS GUYS!

1) There's only one ten bolt rear end. You have the 7.5" with 26 spline shafts, but it doesn't matter, everything is compatible with the 7.625". The axle splines matter, if you're buying a limited slip meant for a 28 spline rear end...
They are both equally weak, if that was your question...

2) control arms. Panhard and rear sway have virtually no effect. Get some of the lakewood $80 control arms, and get some LOWER CONTROL ARM RELOCATION BRACKETS. Commonly referred to on here as LCARB's. Between those two, you'll have a fighting chance.

Re: most important part in cure of axle hop?

Decreasing wheel hop isn't easy with third gen suspension. A proper pinion angle is required and a factory torque arm won't let you adjust it. Lowering the IC will decrease wheel hop but there's little you can do for that either.

Install LCARB and have the LCA set to be parallel with the ground. Buy an aftermarket torque arm and adjust the pinion angle to about 3* down.

lower control arms ABSOLUTELY DO decrease wheel hop
im living proof
i installed hotchkiss lca's and panhard rod
before install=wheelhop
after=gone
it has to do with deflection
dont bother boxing your existing control arms!!!!
