Difference in K members?

Is there a difference in the K member of a Trans Am and Camaro? After pulling the engine to clean the engine bay up I located some evidence that my car has been hammered at some time in it's life.My K member has been welded with a big gorilla weld on the back side of the A arm mounting area and a motor mount was welded on.I have found several donors but the cheapest and closest yard only has a Trans Am and doesn't look to have been wrecked.

Re: Difference in K members?

Thanks for the input.I have several options locally. The Trans Am would be the easiest to get.I figure I can buy one cheaper local than what shipping charges would be these days.I will most likely need to replace A-arms and all.I haven't tore mine down yet to check,it's easier to move around until I gather everything I need. I may even go tubular if some extra funds roll in sometime soon.
