STB with a SR intake
Hi,
I have searched a lot but was unable to find what i am looking for so i am asking here, I have a Super Ram intake on a 92 GTA, and i wish to get a STB.
Does any one here run this same set up? what brands work and what brands do i steer clear of? Also does the instalation of a STB require the drilling of any holes in the tower them selves? I have found pics but they really never show the mounting point very well. That or maybe i just am not searching with the correct wording, any way if any one can shed some light on this i would greatly appreciate it , much thanks GTA

Re: STB with a SR intake
GTA-
This is a tough one. I have a Jamex STB that fits (barely) with the stock hood on my '83 Firebird (SR, not Quadrajet). I have not seen Jamex advertised for YEARS. I have seen two others in pics on the board.
It is skinny, and has adjustment on each end (on the bracket). It has about 1/8" clearance across the box.
You might have to make something. They are a good thing to have, yes.
