comp 3 way shock problem

comp 3 way shock problem

anyone else have comp 3 way adjustable rear shocks? i put mine in yesterday and now the rear end hangs way lower than before, and when lifted from the chassis the springs are loose has any one else had this problem? any help is appreciated thanks

Did the spring rubbers fall out? Are the springs seated properly at the top?

rubbers are there but there is about an inch gap between the rubber and the seat on the body when the car is in the air the part # was 2700 i believe

Mine do the same thing. I always check the springs before I sit it back down. They usually go back in place with out touching them I was suggested to weld in some straps from the body to the rear to keep it dropping down.

No issues while driving. the shocks just have a longer travel than stock ones.

do you have a rear sway bar on the car?
i ran these shocks for years and no issues.
