How to set up for drag racing?

How to set up for drag racing?

I have an adjustable tq arm (spohn, crossmember mount) SFC's, double adjustable LCA's, and lcarb's. My question is, what should I be adjusting to get it to hook better? will changing the pinion angle help at all? The car seems to squat a little harder on the passanger side, and its almost like it slides a little to the right ?

The shocks are chepo summit three way adjustables, and the springs are stock replacements (they don't sag)

Anybody have any sugestions??

For total traction I'd try both settings of the lca's, mine hooks more on the lowest hole. Pinion angle is usually -2 to -4 degrees for a drag setup, and mine's at -2.5 to -3. I'm not sure what pinion angle will do as I've just set mine and drove. With the odd squatting, you could try setting the passenger side stiffer than the driver or putting air bags inside the springs with more air in the passenger side. Drag springs in the front might help traction if the front end isn't lifting quick.

The lca's are in the lowest hole now. The front shocks are 20 years old, so they're nice and worn out . I'll have to check the pinion angle to see what its at. I have never adjusted it, just bolted it in and went. Lately my 60' have started to go away, so I figured I would start playing with the suspention. I think I will go ahead and order a drag bag for the right rear, and see if that will help.
