I tried them together tonight, and I just wanted to let everyone know, they fit perfectly. If anyone wants pics I can get some tomorrow.

For anyone that does have the J&M strut mounts - how much caster/camber could you get? I have mine adjusted all the way in, and couldn't get anywhere close to where I wanted to.

I couldn't get the caster to more then 2.5* and 3* on the other side. This is with the J&M mounts in the end of their slots (inwards). What's the deal? I paid $250 for these so that I could get more adjustability, and I didn't gain a thing! Anyone else experience this?

They sell them for $217.50 and provide free shipping... where did you buy them that you had to pay $250?

I only upgraded because mine were shot and the J&M have lifetime warranty and an unbeatable price. Any extra adjustment is just a bonus to me.

CANADA. They don't ship for free to US SOB's ! So with shipping and duty it was over $250.
I *only* got mine for the added adjustment. I don't think there was anything wrong with my old ones... except I could never get more than 3* of positive camber... Now i'm at the same point... I've heard if that's the case, *something* else is wrong. Now i'm curious what that something is.

So i've happily threadjacked this

Considering the Edelbrock one mounts forward of the mounts & on the sheet metal, I don't see any problems. It looks like the J&M mounts have the same footprint as stock ones, so they wouldn't interfere any.

I just took my Edelbrock 3-pt STB off & didn't have any clearance issues, with the strut mounts.

 

Sombody should have used a J & M ST plate before

spike great pics looks awesome!! It looks as if the strut towers have an integrated mount for the stb or did you modify them?

 

The UMI STB mounts by utilizing 2 of the stock strut mount nuts, with the option to drill a hole for a 3rd mounting bolt.

 

Looking at that picture, why is there not a company that offers a strut mount with an integrated STB mount or even just a mount with the provisions for a rod end.
