NEW WHEELS BUT WHAT SIZE SPACERS???

Ok i just bought some 16'' 4th gen T/A wheels for my car for really cheap. Now i just need to know what size spacers to get so i can put these bad boys to work. Here is a picture with the wheels sitting next to the car to give you guys an idea of what they are gonna look like, also if anyone has any other pictures of their 4th gen wheels and spacers it would definately be a big help

2"..... http://skulte.com/

"In this case, we recommend 2" adapters for the front and rear. You can run the 2" adapters in the rear, even though you only need an extra 1.12" backspacing. This will move the wheel further out in the wheelwell, matching the front, and the wider track will help cornering as well."

Re: NEW WHEELS BUT WHAT SIZE SPACERS???

I have no personal experience with running spacers/adapters. I've always had direct fit wheels.

Keep in mind, the rear wheels sit in farther than the fronts (stock). The wider than needed would give it a wider stance, look better & Skulte wouldn't recommend a size that would cause them to stick out.

Re: NEW WHEELS BUT WHAT SIZE SPACERS???

yes you will need 2" spacers all around. I did this on my 91 formula when i put on some z06's. all 4th gen firebird/camaro wheels and vette wheels require the same amount of spacing. your wheels wont stick out to far in the rear, the same as stock.

Please read the stickies at the top of the the forum and any parent forum that you are posting in.

All questions regarding wheel fitment are supposed to be posted in the Chassis and Suspension section, not under the "Member Rides" subforum of Appearance and Detailing, as per this sticky:

https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/auto...ou-ask-if.html

I have moved the post there for you, even though you already have your answer, just to keep things clean.
