From: Siloam Springs AR.
Car: 1998 Trans/Am, 1989 RS Camaro
Engine: LS1, LQ9 6.0
Transmission: 4L60E, 4L60E
Axle/Gears: 2.73, 2.73
Front end shake

1983 z camaro. The nut on the spendal keeps loosing up and you can jack the car up and actually feel the play in the wheel.

Welcome to TGO. The cotter pin should hold the nut in place.

thanks nice to meet you. i have the cotter pin in place. I tighten it up snug put the wheel back on drive it for a few days and it will be loose again. I dont know how it is possible to do this but it is some how. It has done this to be before and i put new rotors calipers pads and bearings and i got it 2 quit. This was probubly a year ago.

Did you seat the bearings by turning the rotor as you tightened the spindle nut a bit, then backing the nut off only enough to insert the cotter pin?
