K-member kit instalation
This may be a stupid question but with the Spohn K-Member,A-arm & coil-over kit do you need to cut the factory set up out or does it unbolt?? My buddy thinks it needs to be cut out, while i think it unbolts like ive seen some of the 4th gen to 3rd gen Ls1 conversions where you drop the cradle(possibly misspelled).

Re: K-member kit instalation
My advice...have your buddy put down the cut off wheel and step AWAY from your thirdgen!!! haha...
All joking aside. You can support the motor, pull the fender supports and brake lines, pull the suspension, pull motor mount bolts, and then finally the 6 bolts that hold the k-member up. Piece of cake.

Oh...and Ive removed the k-member with the motor in the car before. The biggest pain is trying to support the motor. I used a jack, but that limited my space under the car. Ill have to do it again this spring...but this time Im using a tool from harbor frieght. Im either going to build it, or just pony up and buy it. It seems to work very well.
here's what it looks like.

Pretty self explanitory how it works.
