Re: stock style suspension

I run 9.5's @ a 3650lb race weight with 90/10 struts, front drag springs, strange dana 60, 50/50 shocks, spohn trans mount tq arm set at -2.5 degrees, lakewood LCA's, and set to the 3" drop on the LCARB's. Car has to have a 28" or taller drag radial to hook it, but does about a 12" wheelie as shown in my avatar launching off the trans brake at 4500rpm. This suspension setup is so good that it hooked a set of 26" tall BFG radial t/a's with my old 305 to a 1.8 60'.

Re: stock style suspension

I've seen cars lay down 60ft times in the 1.2's on drag radials, non tubbed. Set up properly, they work quite well.
