what ever happened to this car? are u still drifting? are you gonna take it to Formula D again? did u ever get any more angle?
i am currently working on an angle kit if anyone is interested. it's at 54* with 5* negative camber with the camber plates all the way in.

Re: Drifting IROC Camaro project
it comes with 2" extended LCA's that are highly modified and boxed in, modified steering knuckle, and 2" longer zinc plated tie rod sleeves. for now the kit will be $475. in the near feature i will be working on some fully adjustable tubular LCA's that will make things way easier and tunable. and i will also be building my own steering knuckles so modifying stock components wont be necessary. but that may be a little while.

If you eventually plan to make steering knuckles/spindles, a very important thing to factor into the design would be for them to be a drop spindle (1.5"-2") with a steering arm that short enough not to interfere with a wide 18" (hopefully 17"?) wheel. I'd imagine that there would be a lot of interest in such a product.

Awesome, I'll definitely be interested then. The only reason why I don't run drop spindles on my car is because they won't clear a 10" or 11" wide front wheel.

Re: Drifting IROC Camaro project
I have not done much work on the IROC over the last few years. It has sat a bunch, I've taken it to a few drift events. It is a trooper, takes a lot of abuse.
Added a Hydraulic ebrake and second caliper (made a bracket). Sits in the factory area, works well.

This last Saturday we went to Cupcake Meet 17 in Corpus Christi to take part in a drift demo. It was a small lot, but we had fun. Derrick drove and gave ride alongs to people lined up to pay. Went through several sets of tires (used ones).

We also drove it at the Mexican Standoff (Fabricated Motorsports drift event). Yokoi ( Japanese D1 driver) made some laps in it and got the hang of it.

I need to finish up the other one we are building,
James

Re: Drifting IROC Camaro project
I love the hydro and how you put in in the factory location, kinda curious about the details!
What brand, did you have to reinforce where you mounted it, and what type of caliper is that?
And details on the other one?

Am I having very detailed deja vu or did you post that rear end before and it got deleted? If the latter is the case you may want to post it in classified section to prevent that from happening again.

Awwwwright!
Dual Caliper Hydraulic E. Noice. My arms are too short to make the move to the e-brake in it's stock location. I plan to hack the center console and move it to the left side, or extend it up and over so I don't have to mess with the center console.
Just picked this up myself. Should bring her forward about 3". Comfortably Close ;P ;P
