MT Et Street Radial Tires

Im looking into getting a set of Mickey Thompson P305/35R18 ET Street Radial Tires. I know these tires are great for the strip, which my car will be going to at most 4 times a season, but what would the tread life be on these tires for street driving? I know they will suck in the rain and bad weather, but i dont drive my camaro when its raining. I just want a tire that will hook hard on the street and cost under 240 a tire, ive got a good deal on a new set. Will they go 20-30k mi under normal street driving?

Re: MT Et Street Radial Tires

Anyone used these? General Tire's Ultra High Performance or UHP? they come in at about 200 a tire at tirerack. Ive searched and found people on here using their smaller tires but what about the big boys? Yall think they will last?

My Nitto 555r Drags lasted 2k miles. But the way I drive , I would think they could go about 12-14k miles.

Re: MT Et Street Radial Tires

im probably putting down close to 380rwhp and was looking for an economy street tire($200-$240 each) to hold the power. Im not looking to do wheel stands but with my stock 215 tires i have now, stock rs, i blow the tires off every time i hit the gas. I can buy hoosier slicks for the strip, im mainly looking for a street tire to hook good, and last.

Re: MT Et Street Radial Tires

for a daily driver get some normal street tires and realize that they will never hook as well as a tire that won't last long. It's a tradeoff so if you plan on putting tons of miles on the car then a drag radial isn't for you if your wallet can't handle the expense. Plus driving in the rain would be a bear with the M/T drag radials.
