Strut Mount Replacment
So my car makes some noise when I go over a bump sometimes, usually only when going slow like backing out of the driveway. I'm pretty sure it is from the strut mount as the car is very solid when on the road and cornering still, and if i push down on it it sounds like it is coming from the strut mounts. At what mileage are these usually replaced at, the cars supposedly got 136XXX, and i think they are the originals. Also what are the best brand of ones to get?

Re: Strut Mount Replacment
Very common in these cars. Before you go further, make sure you've checked your transmission crossmember bolts, and the engine cross-member to frame bolts.
I've seen both of these cause the problem and sound like the strut mount because of how it reverberates through the frame rails.
At 13x,xxx you're probably right, but maybe it saves you some trouble.
