camber plates and Konis caused BAD CAMBER
Ok so i installed J&M camber caster plates and Koni Yellows to the front of my car. My alignment before hand was reletively good and after i finished the Camberplates and Konis swap my front end got all wierd on me. The front left (driverside) wheel has a lot of negative camber, and the front right has what looks like a whole degree less than the left. The Caster is set to the same (or close)on both and both have Max Negative Camber set. It made the toe out a lot too, which is understandable because the Camber changed. But i cannot figure out why the front left has sooo much more negative camber than the right.
The wheels are stock IROC-Z 8x16s with 2" adapters (have a set of ZR1s to put on hence the reason for the spacers).
I jacked up both sides of the car and looked and everything looks reletively equal on both sides. Everything is bolted up tight. The wheels spin fine and turn fine.
Does anybody know what could be making my front left wheel have so much negative camber? Thanks for the help.

well i can assure you that the koni's have nothing to do with this issues.
If you are assuming that both wheels are set the same because of the orientation of the bolts in the strut mounts, thats probably not the best thing to do. Its possible that one of the shock towers is a little different than the other, either from an accident or just tolerances from the factory, or just from flexing for almost 20 years or so. Have you taken the car to a shop and have it properly aligned on a alignment machine? thats probably the best way to get it done.

Re: camber plates and Konis caused BAD CAMBER
If you change almost anything on the front end that has to do with the allignment, odds are it'll be off some. Just the nature of the beast. I changed spindles from my 91 Formy parts car onto my car (modified them for the LS1 front brake swap so if I messed up, I'd still have my spindles on the car). The toe was off 7/8 of an inch and the spindles were the only thing I changed.

Don't feel bad... I've had my car alligned something like eight times in the last four years lol. Lately, I get every other one free.
