Need another inch or so

Some of you may know that I lowered my GTA. I am still not happy with the way it sits. Front end still needs to come down more. Right now the car is level but the fender gap in the front is just too much. What can I do for this? I don't want to do spindles. I should also mention that the front springs are still not correct in the pocket in the A-arm. They are turned about 90 degrees counter clockwise. I know it will drop a little when I turn them but I don't think it will give me what I want. How else can I get it where I want it? 285-35/19 in the rear and 245-40/18 in the front. It is exactly 27.75" from the ground to the top of the fender arch on all 4 corners.

Re: Need another inch or so

what springs are you using?

really the only way you will get lower than that with your current springs is to cut them, which people have mixed opinions about.

Re: Need another inch or so

re seat them, see if that helps.
when the spring is seated, the bottom coil is touching the a arm, so it is effectively not doing anything. if the spring is not seated, the bottom coil not only lifts the car, but affects the rate.
if you arent happy after indexing the spring correctly, then cut half a coil off.

the rear looks great though

Springs are Hotchkis. I took the pic on the driveway because it is hard to get a good pic inside the garage with the other car in the way. I will set them right and then see what I have.

Hey howy03. I bought this car down by you last May.
