front struts
front struts
I am in the process of rebuilding the front end of my 1986 IROC-Z. I just removed the struts and when I compress them, one will rebound slowly and the other won’t; could this be a sign of a bad strut because it doesn't rebound?
If it is, should both struts be replaced?
Thanks in advanced, you guy always have valuable information to share!

Re: front struts
you dont exactly have to do all 4 corners at once but defiently switch the front and rears as a pair never replace just one front or just one rear.
Re: front struts
I just finished replacing both front strutes and at the same time rebuilt the font end including replacing the power steering gear box. WOW what a difference you can feel driving the car now.
I'll be rebuilding the rear bushings and struts soon.
