GM Aluminum Wheel Torque Setting
Hi:
Anyone know what the correct Factory Torque Setting is for Firebird Trans Am Aluminum Slotted wheels ???
Apparently the tire shop and mechanic have 2 different views on the subject.
Thanks
Rob

Re: GM Aluminum Wheel Torque Setting
Torque is 80, not 100 (just an assumption of what the two were arguing). 100 should not hurt it though, the 80 torque stick that they will use will put it very near 100. You can see this when you go to use a torque stick after torque sticking all 5 lugs.
