Adjustable rear lower control arms or non?

When it comes to handling does it matter which lower control arm I get... Besides one being adjustable is there any other real advantage?

I'm looking at the double adjustable RCA from UMI and just the standard non-adjustable unit.

Thanks,
Jay

i would recommend adjustable because the rod ends will decrease some of the bind in the suspension, and they will also allow you to center the rear in the wheel well, front to back, to help with tire clearance if you lower the car or use larger tires.

I would get the single adjustable ones though, the double are more for race applications and will be a bit noisy, and you really wont notice much of a different between them and the single unless its going on a serious race car.

UMI would be a great choice, they are truely top of the line parts.

Whats going on Sean? The car is running good besides this annoying exhaust leak on the passenger side header, SES light and an oil leak that I can't seem to pin point... I haven't done much to it lately because of this crazy Michigan weather.

Just redid the idler arm, tie rods, centerlink, struts and sway-bar endlinks.

I thinking about pulling engine back out and redoing the heads, cam and freshen it up alittle.

I really have my eyes set on a t-56 swap... not sure though.

How is your ride treating you?

I can understand the wanting to pull it back out...LOL is the leak coing from the front of the engine, if so I be it is that WP drive seal.

Mine has been fighting me all winter I am getting it slowly. I to just put a center link on my car and wow it made a big diff.

You need to do the t56 swap, it will change the way you look at your car.......

Re: Adjustable rear lower control arms or non?

I see oil on my starter... I believe it maybe the back of the intake leaking but there is also a lot of oil on the bottom half of the block... Hoping its not the rear main seal.

How hard is the t56 swap? Would I have to get an aftermarket crossmember?
