well about 2 days ago a dog ran into a country road on my way home
and i slammed on my brakes (finally found out that it didnt have ABS)

and ever since then ive been having a bouncy ride. as if theres a huge piece of gum stuck to the tire.
hits so hard that it shakes my rear view mirrors.
and it feels like its only the passenger side..

If your were going fast on pavement, when you locked the tires up you could have wore a flat spot on 1 or more tires.

Re: Bouncy bouncy!

You may have flatspotted them deep enough that it'll take alot more than 80 miles to get it out. A visual inspection should help you find the problem area and how bad it is.

Re: Bouncy bouncy!

Burn out to round them out (just joking).

In all seriousness you may want to get the tires rotated the bounce will be less noticeable on the rear and the flat spots are probably on the front tires.

Re: Bouncy bouncy!

I agree with all the above, but what about a blown strut? Could that possibly make the ride bouncy as well? Just another suggestion to look at.
