Re: Raise front suspension?
Yea they might have done that as well but the tires on the back of the car arent much bigger than the front ones, there is definatly enough room for the tire in the rear so i dont know, the guy seemed unsure of what he was doing. But I got some stock springs on the way, I am gonna install them and see how they look and ride.

Re: Raise front suspension?
People who go to changing things without knowing what they are doing are usually dangerous.

Re: Raise front suspension?
So I got the springs delivered a couple days ago and I installed them today. It only took about 30 minutes to swap out the springs, it was a fairly easy job. And it sits about exactly where I wanted it. I will post some pictures of it tomorrow. And it rides 100 times better down the road, it rides somewhat like a Cadillac lol. Thanks for everyone's input and feedback about this problem.

Re: Raise front suspension?
If you think that was bad, I was given a 76 nova hatchback from a guy who owed me money. It was a rear leaf car, and those cars really had bad sag in the rear springs. The guy took 2&1/2 ton truck springs and put in the rear of the nova! He did take a couple of leaves out but not many. Then to top it all off, they did not put any shocks on it! It was done so bad that, after taking the car out and rodding the heck out of it just to see if I got taken, I stopped and the axle had shifted so much that the driveshaft came out of the transmission! I had to get a used rear end to repair it and put regular springs back in the car. I did have fun bouncing the car around for a night.

Re: Raise front suspension?
I say forget the lifting idea. Also, a little punctuation and no caps lock goes a long ways for getting an appropriate response!
I hope you have a huge motor in that thing to even consider 3" side pipes.
