That is that bar thats parallel with the driveshaft?
Its connected to the rear axle and is is along side the drive shaft and the other end is free floating at the back of the transmission. I ask because that bar is knocking up and down. Isn't there supposed to rubber to cushion it?

yes, there should be a rubber pocket that it fits into . I haven't been under mine lately to say exactly how or where it connects but I do know there is some kind of cushion.

That bar is called a torque arm. There should be a bracket and rubber bushing on the back of the transmission that the torque arm slides into.

Thanks. The bolt came loose from the bracket because I noticed that the threads that bolts in the transmission is stripped. It will turn but won't tighten. I used some high strength threadlock just to keep it from loosening from the vibration. But I also noticed that the rubber part is now missing somewhere on the road. I had some thick rubber that I used for a temp fix, but I guess I need to take a trip to the wrecking yard soon. Unless I can find that part at the auto parts store.

You can get a poly bushing for like 15-20 bucks you have to drill out 4 rivets for it though.

The polyurethane bushing is a lot better than the used factory rubber one you'll probably find in the junkyard.

im not for sure but i think you can special order them from Auto Zone, but just do a search online for them, and you need to make sure you get the right one because there are 2 different ones.
