Relocation Brackets

Why are there 2 types, bolt on or weld. Are they both the same in terms of strength and duability? Does one transfer the load better during cornering?

neither will perform better or worse. both really should be welded on, the bolt on ones just allow you to bolt them on and take it somewhere to be welded. They are for correcting geometry after lowering the car, the LCA should be parallel. If you use the lower holes, you can improve straight line performance, but your handling will suffer.
