just got the eibach sportline for my 1991 z28 to drop it 1.6 in the front 1.3 in the rear was wondering what type of strut would be best for this type of application

Someone will chime in "use the search function".... lots has been posted on the subject of struts.
Basically, you get what you pay for.
Longest lasting coupled with best performance; those tend to be the most expensive.
However, some good mid-price options (like Tokico Illminas).
Also, someone has just mentioned GM's F41 option struts. $72- per and decent performance.
Get rear shocks, if you put performance struts on.
Try the search option in the upper right of the page.... lots more on the subject.

I guess its a matter of opinion. I went the chaeapest route possible. i used Monroes with my eibach springs and im totally happy. DO whatever you feel is the best for your own kind of driving. Good Luck!!

If you want performance and handling, don't go with the Sportlines. They are too soft for the ride height and aren't really intended for performance driving. That being said, if you get them, get some good shocks for them. I've heard the higher end Tokicos and the Bilsteins designed for lowered cars are pretty good. But the 'best' option would be KONIs, but they won't be as comfortable as the other two either. If you don't care about performance (or the longevity of the shock, or the ride once they wear slap out) get something cheap, like Monroes, Gabriels, cheap KYBs, etc.

koni's, i was going to go with sportline springs but its too much hassle. i recommend the following...an adjustable torque arm w/poly torque arm bushing, poly trans bushing, an adjustable panhard bar w/ drop bracket, adjustable rear track arms w/drop bracket, chamber adjustable kit for front, new sway bar bushings, and strut brace for the front in engine bay, also id get the air bags that go inside the springs to adjust the stiffness, subframe connectors.. you can get everything at www.jegs.com BUT they list the price for more than it acually is, some shopping should be good

are the sportlines too low for day to day driving? also do you need anything else to add when u install them?
