relocation bracket question

relocation bracket question
recently i purchased edelbrock low control arm relocation brackets. i have read
many articles and treads on here but never found the answer i was looking for. i
know that they are nessacery on a lowered vehicle to correct the angle but i
want to put them on my stock height camaro. if i move the control arm to a
lower spot wont it greatly increase my traction from a stop? basically what im
looking for is....will it help my car or is it a bad idea? any info would be greatly
appreitated. Thanks

What we have experienced is when you install the lower control arm in the lowest location you get the best results in eliminating wheel hop and increasing your traction performance.

u want the LCA to be parallel to the ground when doing things like autocrossing... for drag racing/straight line all out performance u want the connection a the rear end to be lower than the mounting point on the subframe. too much angle can adversely affect drivability, cornering and braking etc.
also i dont kno if the edelbrocks are bolt in or weld in... i have UMIs bolt ins and i just welded them in after a yr of just being bolted on. if u plan on keeping the rear it would be wise to weld them on if they are bolt ons. what do they look like? got a pic or link?
