Quick center link and pitman arm question
When swapping my steering box and connecting the ball joint on the center link to the pitman arm, i turn the castle nut and the whole ball joint nut just spins. I stuck my pickle fork in there to put pressure on it but i still couldn't get it all the way tight.
Im taking the box out again, is there a better way to do this so i get get it all the way tight?

Re: Quick center link and pitman arm question
If I understand what I think you are saying, putting the picklefork in is just putting pressure on in the wrong direction. See if you can put a bottle jack or floor jack under the centerlink and jam the swivel- stud up into the pittman arm on the box. An impact gun on the nut helps too. Once you finally get it tight enough to swedge into the taper on the pittman arm, it will hold itself while you tighten the nut.
