i am replacing my front control arms. the a arm bolts are rusted to hell. any suggestions on to remove them like heat them um use a breaker bar or what anything would help thanks guys i heard something obut lock tight? so any suggestions would be appreciated thanks ya guys

try to lube it with WD-40 and try a breaker bar and a pip at the end for more lev.

Pb Blaster, liquid wrench, breaker bar w/ cheater pipe.dont use heat, and make sure the springs out

I used heat wd-40 and an air-gun

I let the hard to remove bolts sit overnight in PB blaster. If that doesn't work, I whip out the torch.

Ive had great luck using PB Blaster and some serious elbow grease, but if that doesnt work, heat the bolt to red hot with a torch, then splash oil onto it, the heat of the bolt will draw the oil into the threads, makes for an easy removal.

ya the heat will work prety nicely, I broke a 21mm wrentch trying to take bolts off my truck, and no I don't use them as hammers.

but ya if all else fails use heat, if you need to you can always cut the bolts on the leave springs, and if you know how to use a tourch decently you should not cut into the brackets, just be carefull because they have rubber bushings on them that with that temp love to burn

Any of those lubricants with a breaker bar(1/2 inch) and a cheater pipe will do it. Its amazing how much a cheater pipe helps. You will either break it loose or break it off but something will give.

PB Blaster for as long as possible, breaker bar and cheater bar (I've got a 4 footer in case of emergencies). Sometimes trying to tighten the bolt/nut before trying to loosen can help too. After that, torches come out

the other common issue is the bolt rusts/rots to the metal lines of the bushing and will never come out. then you need a cutting torch or sawzall

Get some Freeze Off. That stuff is super cold to cause micro cracks in the rust/corrosion and then works like PB to creep into the cracks...stuff works wonders.

PB blaster and let it sit overnight. I have access to a Magnetic Induction heater if that doesn't work.

well i got the nut to come off but the bolt wouldnt come out. So i took the assemblies to a shop and they poped them out. But now the control arms are bad so replacing them, i have a feeling those bolts are gonna be a pain but well see
