A few questions about Subframe connectors.

I attempted a search on this, but I could not find the answer. Probably my bad there, but anyway. My main question is do the alston SFC's clear the dual converter y pipe assembly? All installed pics that ive seen have been on cars with longtubes, or single cat pipes. Thanks in advance for any help.

Re: A few questions about Subframe connectors.

Hello, not sure about the Alston connectors but our SFC009 connectors will work with the exhaust that you are asking about. If you habve any questions about our products please let me know.

Re: A few questions about Subframe connectors.

I couldn't find anything on TDS's documentation (install) page whether these will fit dual cat cars. This would be a good thing to know.

Re: A few questions about Subframe connectors.

They do fit. You may require a bit of tweeking. But it's nothing that a shop with the drive-on style lift and a MIG or TIG can't handle. I have Alston SFC's installed on my two cars that are roadworthy. The Camaro has single cat, the firebird's been switched to custom installed dual cat. The important thing is to install the front cup first. It will establish the correct angle to the rear cup mount. Also some cars unibodies may have bent a bit and will require some persuasion with a BFH to move the sheet metal away from the tube of the SFC so it doesn't rattle. I also recommend trimming the lip of the heat shield just above where the SFC bar crosses over the cat(s) so you have more clearance.

Thanks. You should have this edited into your install page as a note.
