Don't ban me for asking...

I actually have a question pertaining to changing struts in a 93 Carolla. It has the strut that goes through the spring (coil over struts) on all 4 wheels. Is there an easy way to change them? I seem to recall a clamp of some kind that helped keep the spring under tension while you jacked up the car. Do you know what I am talking about and if so, where to get some?

1984 z28 w/ a 357 cu in. monster engine which is looking like the posterchild for Edelbrock... all the suspension stuff... 9-bolt posi disk is in... K&N filter... 93 octane...

I got the GO... I need the SHOW... Interior is next!

You need a coil spring compressor. You can get one at any automotive supply store.
