Looking to go bigger then 255/50/16 on rear of Trans Am, what are my options?

Transmission: Built TH700R4 with 26-2800 Stall
Axle/Gears: GM 10 bolt 3.73 Posi
Looking to go bigger then 255/50/16 on rear of Trans Am, what are my options?
I have 255/50/16 Nitto 555R Drag radials on the back of my Trans Am, they fit well but dont fill the wheel well like I want. So my question is, what size tires are you all running that have no fitment problems. I dont want to have to customize my fender lips or go with spacers. Im going to be using my stock GTA rims. Im not looking for a tire that will stick out 5", just something that is slightly taller. Let me know what you all have and pics would be great!

The BFG 295/50 fits great. Been there, done that & posted the info (just last week?)and pic in the hundreds of other threads that ask this same thing.
