Power window regulator installation
I had to replace the passenger side window regulator motor on my 92 camaro. Here is my problem: I cannot find the right sized rivet adaptor needed to install the rivets. I had to purchase the rivets from a dealership (6mm) and the largest size my rivet tool allows is 5mm. Its darn near impossible to mount the regulator to the door frame with nuts and bolts and I have not been able to find a 6mm rivet adapter. Any suggestions on how to put it back together?

You will have to get a different (larger) rivet gun that the auto workers use that will accept the larger rivets. You may be able to rent one (not from an auto parts store, but an equipment rental place) or buy one from an industrial tool supplier.
I replaced my drivers regulator (manual crank though) and I used nuts and bolts that was specified in the Chilton's manual. Like you, I didn't have the right rivet gun at the time and it needed to go on right away.

Thanks for the tip...my next move will probably be to a tool rental shop unless I can buy one for a good price.
