Home made strut tower brace sub frame connectors
Does anyone have any ideas or pictures on how to make a home made strut brace and frame connectors? I have a 89 firebird with a tbi engine in it and I want to try to make my own stut brace and sub frame connectors. Any ideas?

From all the measuring you will need to to do, to prevent your hood from contacting it, and welding the steel you will buy, its cheaper to buy one. Alot of companies sell them.

Here's one that I made for my TBI car. Cost was $0 since it was scrap from work. It took me about 30-45 minutes to fab it up and get it ready for paint. I even tapped the holes in it so that the bolts coming up from the wheel well tightened into the mounting tabs. I have nuts on top of the tabs now that lock it down tight.
